Sea Level's Emerging Artist Contest has become the area's premier competition for undiscovered singer/songwriters. The entries in the 2015 contest are all stellar and judges will soon narrow the field down to TEN semifinalists who will perform at the showcase event.
The semifinalists will perform one song each at the Emerging Artist Contest, a live concert on Saturday, April 4 at Norfolk Collegiate’s Meredith Center for the Performing Arts, 7336 Granby St, Norfolk, VA. Three finalists will then be chosen by a panel of judges to perform a second song, and based on these performances, a winner will be selected.
The Sea Level Emerging Artist winner will receive a new Paul Reed Smith SE Angelus Custom acoustic guitar, studio time from SoniQual, LLC - Professional Music Recording Studio, photography and video services from Knox Studios and Jpixx, as well as invitations to appear on local radio - Out of the Box (WHRV FM89.5), Hunter At Sunrise (WHRV HD3), and TV - The Hampton Roads Show.
