Tidewater Arts Outreach and Decorum Furniture invite lovers of music and art to Decorum Furniture, 301 W 21st Street in Ghent, Norfolk on Saturday, February 6 from 7 – 10 pm, for our 7th Instruments of Art Celebration and Auction. Our celebration features incredible artwork by local artists, live and silent auctions, live music, performance dance and refreshments.
Forty area artists were asked to transform used musical instruments into works of art. The entire collection can be seen online beginning in early January at TidewaterArtsOutreach.org.
$45 advance/$55 at the door admission includes 'La Cubana' hors d’oeuvres and two drinks. Ju Ju Garlic ensemble, Mambo Room dancers, and Todd Rosenlieb emcees. Artwork and other fine gifts and packages will be auctioned via silent and live auctions; a range of work is available for purchase. Credit cards, checks and cash are accepted. Dress is la Cubana or cocktail attire, with a creative, comfortable or casual flair. Tickets are $45 in advance / $55 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online.
